Thumbs up for Korea Food

15 03 2008

Two months after i came back from Korea, I’m still thinking bout the food now.
Every meal is fantastic, just except for a few breakfasts we had while staying in the resorts .

I definitely love their rice, its never sinful to ask for a second bowl. Wrapping rice with seaweed is yum yum. Wrapping meat with lettuce is yum yum yum. Not to mention having nice hot soup in such cold weather. Kimchi can be really salty though, but everything goes well with rice.
Wah… drool…

Being a carnivore, i have to say that the meat dishes are really good. Never will i get sick of the pork and chicken. Bbq pork, abalone porridge, ginseng chicken, bimbimba, chicken in red sauce, teppanyaki pork, and many others which i dunno how to describe. Korea cabbage smells so nice and taste real sweet. Very crunchy. Their lettuce are big and fresh too. Their bean sprouts are really long.. quite scary. Keow and Boo kept on eating the garlics, which they claim are nice and spicy. Boo had her tears rolling down on a few occasion. I guess she’s just too touch to be able to sit down and dine with us.

Believe me, the food definitely taste much better than the look of the photos. We dont have time to snap our cameras when delicacies are on the table. As there’s only 3 of us sharing the food portion for 4, we got our stomach filled up to the brim every single time. Haha..

Oh yah, we had the unavoidable kimchi making session, not that bad as its real quick. Didnt take up much of our time. And thats where we got to try out ginseng milk. Mix ginseng powder into milk with honey. Taste surprisingly good.

Lets go for Korea food soon, shall we Girls?
