Short getaway over the weekend. Stayed 2 nights at Turi Beach Resort. Just next to the beach, resort has a very rustic feel, which sets people in the perfect mood to relax. The staffs are all friendly and polite.
As usual, i was bitten by mosquitoes all over my legs, even though i had the baby johnson anti-mosquitoes thingy. Had to climb up a slope everytime i need to go back to my hut (they called it the villa, but i think its just a hut with balcony, hee), quite tiring. It gets pretty dark along the slope at night, but there will always be a security guard stationed around. Can spot a few bright stars in the sky when the cloud is clear, also spotted alot of other ’stars’, which turned out to be airplanes, as the resort is situated near to Changi across Singapore.
As i was lazing all the time, only managed to snapped a few photos on the last evening. It was getting dark, but i refused to turn on the flash. Haha.
1. The pool where i spent most of my time. The deepest part of the pool is 2.4m. Simply love this pool!
2. The place where i had their signature spa massage. Very oily, but very comfy. Almost fell asleep on a few attempts.
3. You can spot the pool bar in this picture.
4. Needless to say, the king size bed.
5. Inside a hut by the pool. Place where i read my book, and got suck by mosquitoes.
