Never have thought that i will be walking down the streets of London at the age of 23. I’m a poor kid, not only poor, i’m a miser. The airfares are high, the exchange rate is terrible, the food arent cheap, and to shop here is really expensive.
Well now that the company pays for my airfare, pays for accomodation, pays for food, i just have to go to London! Even though it cost me 36 pounds (ard SGD110) to take a 2 hour coach to London over the weekend, i have absolutely no complaints. Hee..
Saturday morning, my precious non-working day, its freezing cold, my fingers are stiff, becareful, or they will break anytime. Had to wake up 6.30am in order to catch an early coach into the city. Tired, but excited.
List of places that i visited:
Buckingham Palace – Missed the guards changing shift, arrhhh…
Green Park – So green and so blue!
Big Ben – Old, big, beautiful architecture.
London Eye – 11.50 pounds, a clear day, perfect view, definitely worth the money.
Jubilee Garden – Lots of street arts.
British Musuem – Egyptian mummies, Parthenon marbles, Greek and Roman galleries.
Covent Garden – Too late, missed the ‘pasar malams’.
Camden Town – Massive streets of markets, lots of punks. Yummy asia food.
Shakespeare’s Globe – Watched A Winter’s Tale, love the theatre.
Tate Modern – Doesnt spark any interest.
Millennium Bridge - They said it was the most beautiful bridge between Bankside and the city.
Oxford St – Really really expensive clothings.
Tower Hill – Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and i saw the bridge falling down!
